In the wake of the rising cases of COVID-19 in Delhi, Miranda House has formed a help desk with a support team of 300 student volunteers to help guide you through resources. The requirements in this hour of need are testing, treatment, hospitalisation, oxygen support , psychiatrist, medical counselling, food services etc. You can call the following coordinators for help/guidance:

1. Inside shops(any public place) maintain 15% crowd, wait outside shop till those inside come out. Do not allow anyone to go in, if it is already crowded.👥 (Owners will be at loss for not following it). As Citizen CoVid Police (CCP) Use "Small Plastic Air Honk" to get attention. Go for shopping as per table below to reduce crowding:

* People with first name starting with

A-F to shop from 12 AM to 9 AM,

G-L to shop from 9 AM to 2 PM,

M-R to shop from 2 PM to 7 PM,

S-Z to shop from 7 PM to 12 AM

2. In bus/flight/train✈️ do not occupy more than 25% seats. Even if charges are increased, pay it for own safety.

3. In Car/Taxi, let only 2 passenger to travel🚙

4. Really, yes really maintain 6 feet distance with others in public places🤚🏿

5. Ensure very good ventilation in all public places, keep windows open, install more fans🌬 etc

6. Avoid meeting people, do video chat or speak over phone☎️ Use conf calls.

7. Postpone all functions. If not complete any function🥮 with just 10 persons.

8. Pay door delivery agents and avoid travelling outside for small shoppings or Plan shopping wisely😇

12. Go for test🔬 when in doubt, do not ignore or delay.

13. Only when Oximeter⏱ reading goes very low say below 92 or as per doctor advice seek admission in hospital. Let most needy get Hospital beds/oxygen. Do not hoard oxygen or medicines. (All 2-3 homes must have Oximeter-Donate Pls)

14. Donate blood🩸a day before vaccination, as you may not be able to donate blood for 28 days after last dose.

😊Chest physiotherapy is a mechanism wherein the chest muscles are stimulated to improve the lung capacity and bring out the secretions which are stuck in the lung.

✅Trained physiotherapists, trained attendants or a chest therapist can only administer👈🏿 this form of therapy.

The video demonstrates chest physiotherapy being performed in a formal hospital set-up. It shows patients being seated while two people repeatedly bang on the chest and back of the affected person. As seen in the video, it requires inputs from multiple people and therefore should not be tried at home❌.

Do note as mentioned by Dr Praveen Gupta that while chest physiotherapy is a legitimate technique, it must only be practised by a medical professional or by someone who has been trained by a medical professional. Do not resort to trying this technique by watching videos online❌.
